Volumetric Feeder

Purpose

To deliver a precise amount of fibrous material to the production process.

Application

Bale opening operations, fiber reclaim systems, sheet pulp operations, plastic reclaim/ regrind systems, special fiber delivery, and unique pad forming demands.

Operation

Fibrous material suspended in air is delivered to the moving screen to form a mat. Size and weight of the mat is controlled by sensors, screen speed, and profiling rolls. A special fiberizing roll guarantees predictable additive introduction to production.
